Arledge partner LaDonna Sinning is featured in The Journal Record’s 2024 Power List, Women in Accounting and Finance. The list honors some of the top Oklahoma professionals as chosen by The Journal Record’s readers and editors.
LaDonna Sinning has more than two decades of public accounting experience along with experience as a bank examiner for the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City. While with the Federal Reserve LaDonna was the 2004 recipient of the President’s Award for her efforts with a national group drafting guidance for the Federal Reserve Board related to bank internal controls. In her public accounting practice, she has experience as an auditor, fraud investigator and consultant.
As a partner and shareholder in the firm, sinning directs numerous audits of municipal and tribal governments, notfor- profit organizations and privately held concerns. She also provides fraud investigation and other consulting services including internal controls assessments, compliance reviews and banking relationship assistance. LaDonna works hard to contribute to the firm’s growth and is proud to have been a part of it near-tripling in size during her years as a partner.
LaDonna holds an MBA with an emphasis in finance, Summa Cum Laude, from The University of Oklahoma and also graduated Summa Cum Laude with a BS in Accounting from Southwestern Oklahoma State University.
A member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Association of Certified Fraud Examiners and the Oklahoma Society of Certified Public Accountants, LaDonna has written and instructed various courses including Communications Between You & Your Auditor, Capital Assets for Local Governments, and You, Me and the FDIC. She serves on the Oklahoma Society of CPAs as a board member and also as a member of the Governmental Accounting and Auditing Committee and the Continuing Professional Education Committee.
Sinning is married with one child, a daughter, who is a competitive figure skater. LaDonna finds her spare time is filled with skating-related activities. When time permits, LaDonna loves to travel and has visited most states in the US along with a handful of foreign countries, most recently visiting Japan.
